Markus Schrödel is a founding partner of Prescus Capital with a particular focus on distribution and building lasting relationships to the investment community.
Markus is a co-founder and CEO of HF Investment AG, a consultant to Swiss institutional investors. In 1997, he was a co-founder and member of the management team of SMS Securities Sigg Merkli Schrödel AG, an independent investment banking boutique in Zürich where he was head of brokerage and trading. Previously, Markus was a Director at OZ Bankers, an independent investment banking boutique where he was covering Swiss institutional investors in equity and derivates. From 1992 to 1994, he was a Director of BZW Securities in London and was responsible for building up institutional equity derivate sales into Switzerland.

Ronald Sauser

Ronald Sauser is chairman of the board of Prescus Capital.
For more than four decades, he has focused on corporate finance, particurarly in the M&A business. Ronald began his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse before joining EY (Ernst & Young) as Head of Corporate Finance. He then led Switzerland's largest M&A teams at Sal. Oppenheim Corporate Finance Switzerland and its successor, Leonardo & Co. Switzerland. Since 2021, Ronald has served as Senior Advisor to the leading U.S. investment bank Houlihan Lokey, following its acquisition of GCA Altium, where he had previously held board and advisory roles.

Karl Svensson
Partner

Karl Svensson is a founding partner of Prescus Capital with a particular focus on origination and execution.
Karl is a corporate finance specialist having marketed and executed M&A and equity private placements mandates across Europe. He brings both operational and transactional experience from the retail sector and previously served as a member of the board of Norwegian listed discount variety retailer Europris.
Karl was previously a director and analyst at Swiss corporate finance boutiques Quadrum Partners and Advisory & Merchant Partners respectively. Karl started his career in 2003 as an analyst at Pelikan Hardcopy AG, a portfolio company of Swiss private equity investor Zurmont Madison.
He received a master of science degree in business and economics from Uppsala University in 2003.

Philipp Graf
Managing Partner

Philipp Graf is the managing partner and a founding partner of Prescus Capital.
Prior to Prescus Capital, Philipp was a Managing Director and Partner of Twelve Capital, a specialised asset manager based in Zurich and London with AUM of approx. USD 4 billion. Prior to that, Philipp was a Managing Director at Macquarie Group, where he led the German infrastructure closed-end fund business and was head of the German branch of Macquarie Bank International Limited.
Philipp’s expertise includes the origination and execution of private placements, fund structuring and fund raising. He has extensive experience with asset financings, private equity investments, private debt transactions and infrastructure projects. He started his career in 2002 in the M&A department of UBS Investment Bank in London.
Philipp graduated with a Master's Degree (lic. oec. HSG) in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen in 2002.

Simon Koenig

Simon Koenig is a board member of Prescus Capital.
Simon Koenig brings over 25 years of experience and has been CEO, founder, and shareholder of Lakeward Real Estate AG since 2016. He was elected to the Board of Directors of Helvetic Trust AG in March 2023 and has served since 2016 on the Board of Raiffeisenbank Rapperswil-Jona Genossenschaft. Previously, he was Managing Director and Board member of Armada Investment AG, a single family office, where he oversaw asset allocation and direct investments. From 2009 to 2015, he was CEO and co-investor of Gutburg Immobilien S.A., which he led to a successful exit. Earlier, he held roles at SKA, Credit Suisse First Boston, KPMG, and Man Investments Plc in asset management, corporate finance, controlling, and banking.

Stefanie Kluge
Managing Director

Stefanie Kluge is a Managing Director at Prescus Capital with a focus on project selection and transaction execution.
Prior to Prescus Capital, Stefanie worked as management consultant for BearingPoint from 2017 to 2020 with a focus on banking and capital markets. She started her career at Credit Suisse, gaining experience as strategy consultant in the institutional client segment and as equity research analyst, covering various sectors.
Stefanie's experience include research, valuation and digital transformation.
Stefanie is a CFA charter holder. She received a Bachelor's Degree in European Business from the University of Applied Science in Münster and a Master's Degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Applied Science in Zurich.

Dr. Thomas Schöber

Dr. Thomas Schöber is the chief investment officer of Lilja Capital.
Thomas is also a Partner of Lilja & Co., an independent equity capital markets advisory firm with offices in Zurich and Frankfurt, where he has originated and executed a significant number of large IPOs and dual track exit transactions across multiple industry sectors primarily in the DACH region.
Prior to joining Lilja & Co. in 2005, Thomas was with McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, Bank Vontobel and Swisscom, gaining experience in management consulting, corporate finance, private wealth management and corporate development.
Thomas holds a doctoral degree from the University of St.Gallen (HSG). His dissertation analyses a large sample of buyout-backed IPOs. Previously, he studied at the University of St.Gallen (HSG) and at Cornell University.

Stefanie Berlinger is since 2006 a Partner of Lilja & Co., an independent equity capital markets advisory firm with offices in Zurich and Frankfurt.
Prior to joining Lilja & Co., Stefanie was a Director of Deutsche Bank’s Equity Capital Markets and Institutional Equity Sales teams for eight years. She started her career as an ECM professional at DZ BANK in 1996.
Stefanie is on the Supervisory Board of MDAX listed Brenntag AG, the world’s largest chemical distributor and has been a member of the Audit Committee since 2015.
Stefanie graduated in 1995 with a degree in Business Administration from Technische Hochschule Regensburg and Oxford Brookes University, Oxford (UK).

François Molinari
Director
Zurich
François Molinari is a Director at Prescus Capital with a focus on transaction execution and investor distribution.
Before joining Prescus Capital, François was a product specialist at UBS in the C&IC Financing Advice team in Zürich, focusing on interest rate derivatives and private debt placements. Prior to that, he worked in the client advisory department of UBS between 2010 and 2016.
François received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University St. Gallen (HSG). He also gained international exposures through exchange semesters at the University of Hong Kong and at the Waseda Business School in Tokyo.
Melanie Haffmann is the office manager and executive assistant at Lilja & Co. Frankfurt.
She provides support through a wide range of duties and is responsible for the administration. Having completed her original professional training in the banking sector, she has extensive experience in managing teams on an executive level.
Prior to joining Lilja & Co. in 2022, she was part of the advisory team of BNP Paribas S.A., where she held a senior position in the administration team of the m&a department and was responsible for the company-wide development of advanced training courses for the assistant pool. She also gained experience as a Management Assistant at other financial service providers.
Paul Solari is an Analyst at Lilja & Co.
He supports the team on equity capital market transactions.
Prior to joining Lilja & Co, Paul gained experience through internships at a family office and a brokerage firm.
Paul graduated with a Master’s Degree from HEC Paris in 2023.
Kevin Marchel is a Vice President at Lilja & Co.
He has successfully executed various M&A, IPO and private placement transactions across various sectors in Europe and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Lilja & Co., Kevin gained experience in private equity as investment manager at Dubai Holding in the UAE and in investment banking / corporate finance at Evercore and BNP Paribas in Frankfurt.
Kevin holds a Master in Management from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree from IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems.

Philip Hürzeler

Philip Hürzeler is an Analyst at Prescus Capital with a focus on transaction execution.
Prior to joining Prescus Capital, Philip interned at Alantra in Zurich, Verlinvest in Brussels and Emerald Technology Ventures in Zurich.
He recently completed his studies at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), earning a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a master's degree in Accounting and Finance. Philip also gained international experience through exchange programs at ESCP Business School in Paris and at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
